We asked our 9-year-old daughter to review our two months in Hua Hin. These are her thoughts.

Water Parks, Beaches, Harborland, Art Cafes and walking with goats
MY AWESOME HUAHIN ADVENTURE (by me, age 9)
OK so here’s the thing. Hua Hin is EPIC and I’m gonna tell you ALL about it.
First of all, WATER PARKS. We went to LOTS of them and they had MASSIVE slides. Like really really big ones. Obviously I went on all of them, except the massive one that dad went on.
Then there were the beaches. They were really really really big and nice and watery. I don’t really know how to explain it, they were just nice. We went horse riding ON THE BEACH which was very good. Like VERY good. And I learned to rollerblade which was also nice.
Oh and Harborland!! It opened like a few days (or maybe weeks, I can’t remember) after we got there and it was SO BIG you could literally get lost in there. Which is kind of awesome if you think about it.
There were these art cafes too and they were SO nice. You could create your own things and make stuff. And because we’re homeschooled, we went to loads of homeschool meetups. There was one at a farm and they were all FREE which is basically the best ever. There were GOATS. You could TAKE GOATS FOR WALKS. And they did GOAT YOGA which was a bit crazy honestly but still amazing, not that we went to that.
Walking with Elephants, Markets, Thai Food and Thai Weather
For Christmas we made our own cookies at the farm, and they were TASTY.
Now this is the cool part – we went on an ELEPHANT WALK and the elephant LITERALLY cuddled us with its trunk. That was very very cool.
My brother Alex loved the markets because he would ALWAYS get meat on a stick. I don’t really like that kind of stuff but whatever, more for him I guess.
The people there were good. Friendly. Different from England and New Zealand but in a good way.
And THE FOOD. Ok so when we first arrived I HATED it. But then I got used to it and now it’s SO TASTY I love it. There was this one place we went to so often, right next to our hotel, and it was the BEST. It’s called Im Jang.
The weather was really hot but I got used to it. Although I don’t know if I’m gonna like it when we go back. We’ll see.
Anyway that’s Huahin and it was GOOD. Obviously.
